Main Components Included with a Clean Steam Generator 


  • Vertical heat exchanger, all types 316L stainless steel except carbon steel tube side head. ½” OD x 0.049’’ wall SA-249-TP316L stainless steel u-tubes, ASME stamp of 150 psig @400o
  • Water-level gauge and level controller with high- and low-level alarms
  • Pressure gauge on clean steam outlet
  • Steam pressure relief valve with drip pan elbow (item B, shipped loose)
  •  Automatic valve to control clean steam pressure that shuts off on a high-pressure alarm
  •  Electric valves (normally closed) on both the feedwater and the blowdown
  •  System for automatic blowdown with conductivity probe to read total dissolved solids (TDS)
  •  Heavy Duty painted steel frame
  •  Piping, valves, check valve, air eliminator & vacuum breaker, all in stainless steel
  •  Float and thermostatic steam trap and strainer on the condensate outlet
  • One (1) NEMA 1 UL (other certification available) approved control panel, pre-programmed to perform the start-up and shut down procedures as well as alarms managing. The panel shall include:

    Programmable controller with optimal control sequence proprietary to Maxi-Therm’s

    Color HMI and intuitive, easy to use graphic interface with different users’ access levels.

    BACnet (IP and MSTP), LON, Modbus (MTU and TCP) communication protocols are available

    IoT ready with data acquisition and secure remote access capabilities (ISO 27001 and ISECOM STAR certified) with OPC  Embedded Server. Internet connectivity must be provided to the panel via an ethernet cable by the customer for remote for troubleshooting and montoring.

    Outside disconnect switch to be able to locally shut the power to the panel before opening the door

    Integral network switch and 120V power supply receptacle to plug a laptop for easy tech support. Laptop can be plugged in with the control panel door closed for more safety.
